MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian President Vladimir Putin said Saturday that advancements of Russia’s military-industrial sphere is a national treasure.
"For decades, the success of the military-industrial complex has been the national pride of our country," Putin said during an awards ceremony of Hero of Labour medals to five Russian nationals.
Putin added that the country’s designers and engineers were offering unique technological solutions.
Missile complexes designed by Pavel Kamnev, who was also awarded the medal, are among such exceptional weapons, according to the Russian leader.
