A 6.6-magnitude earthquake has occured Monday not far from the coast of Russia’s far eastern Kamchatka Territory, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reports.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The quake struck at 1:50 Moscow time (22:50 GMT). Its epicenter was located 207 kilometers (129 miles) south-east of Ust-Kamchatsk city at the depth of approximately 41 miles, according to the USGS.

No information about the damage or casualties has been received yet.

There has no been a threat of tsunami, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
