MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian energy giant Gazprom will be headed by its current CEO Alexey Miller for another five years, the company’s board of directors decided Tuesday.
“The board of directors reviewed the issue of electing the CEO of Gazprom and unanimously decided to choose Alexey Borisovich Miller as the chief executive officer beginning May 31, 2016, for a term of five years,” the company said in a statement.
Miller has headed Gazprom since 2001.
