Russian Anti-Terror Units Undergo Snap Combat Readiness Tests in 26 Regions

Russian anti-terror units underwent a snap combat readiness inspections.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Unannounced snap inspections were held in 26 western Russian regions for the country’s anti-terror units, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Western Military District said Tuesday.

“In compliance with the orders from the troop commander of the Western Military district, Lt.-Gen. Andrei Kartapolov, unannounced inspections of the combat readiness of anti-terror units deployed in 26 regions of the Russian Federation were held,” Col. Igor Muginov said in a statement.
