MOSCOW(Sputnik) — Moscow extended a federal project on the development of Russian cosmodromes, which was set to expire in 2015, for one year, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.

"It was also decided to extend for a year the expiring in 2015 federal Russian cosmodromes program, in order to develop next year a new federal program designed until 2025," Peskov added.

According to the spokesman, "issues related to the financial rehabilitation" of the Russian Space Agency were discussed during the meeting.
