PHNOM PEHN (Sputnik) – Russian authorities may have to block the resource service Wikipedia if the on-line encyclopedia does not delete information that is banned by Russian law, Communications Minister Nikolai Nikiforov said Tuesday.
“As far as I remember, we’re talking about articles that contain information on methods of preparing narcotics. If the official decision by our service on controlling the circulation of narcotics fits into the illegal category, then Roskomnadzor, will have to block these pages. We’re not talking about blocking the entire resource,” Nikiforov said.
