Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov denied media reports that Russia, the US, Turkey and Saudi Arabia discussed the resignation of Bashar al-Assad during the talks in Vienna, the peoplesvoice.org wrote.

According to journalist Stephen Landman, one can rely on Moscow’s words because only Russia behaves honestly and respects the sovereignty of all states.

“You can take Russia’s word to the bank. It’s rock-solid, not phony like its so-called (very adversarial) partners, especially Washington,” the author wrote.

On October 30, representatives of the United States, Russia, Iran, China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon and France, as well as UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura, participated in talks in Vienna in order to find ways to resolve the Syrian conflict.

The diplomats agreed that terrorist groups should be destroyed, refugees should get necessary assistance and that the Syrian people must decide the fate of their state. However, the countries have not discussed the resignation of the current President Bashar al-Assad or any other issues regarding his withdrawal from the post.

"This is not true," Lavrov stressed. "I heard that the rumors are being spread already that it has been or will be agreed that Assad will step down in some period of time. This is not the case," the diplomat added.

US is losing what it describes as an "information war" because it has only propaganda on offer.
I very much like and trust the restrained and limited to facts statements of Putin and Lavrov. Contrast that with the lofty disingenuous over the top language used by Obama, Kerry, Powers and their spokesperson. Love the see the latter ones squirming when forced to detail their too often baseless allegations deriving "facts" from social media often sourced by the their own subsidized NGOs.

Everything about the US is a lie and the gov backs up those lies.
Mention one truth Obama has told the people since he has been in office.

Russia keeps telling the truth but the US keeps telling lies after lies. Obama said he will NOT send boots on the ground in Syria 16 times, the latest only in July 2015.

Now he has gone back on his words and will be sending 50 troops from the special forces to Syria as Advisers.

Remember the Vietnam War? It started with the US sending 50 military advisers to the corrupt South Vietnam and that escalated into a full blown war lasting for more than 10 debilitating years.

And to add insult to injury, the US lost in the Vietnam War, lost 58,000 men and wasted over one trillion US dollars for nothing. Vietnam was reunited as one nation in 1976.
