MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The artillery forces of Russia’s Baltic Fleet fired BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers as part of military exercises in the westernmost exclave of Kaliningrad, the Western Military District said Thursday.
The district press service added that large-scale drills on artillery fire control involving the fleet’s coastal forces are planned to be conducted in September.
“Artillery forces performed over 50 fire missions within the framework of planned exercises gathering coastal forces that was launched earlier this month,” the press service said in a statement.
