MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Head of Russia's agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor proposed earlier in the day to destroy adulterated food produced in Russia at the expense of manufacturers and retailers who sell it.
"I certainly support this idea, because, and this is obvious, there are crimes behind the falsified, poor-quality products that exist on the market, in refrigerators, in warehouses, at wholesale depots. Secondly, this is unfair competition for our real producers," Tkachev told reporters.
