CFU President Yury Vetokha said that vigorous efforts were being made to set up the union’s structure, coordinate the rules of the CFU premier league championships and prepare the schedule of the future games.
UEFA earlier promised to provide Crimean football players with a professional status and said it was interested in the development of children’s football on the peninsula.
The upcoming CFU championships, slated to kick off in August, will bring together eight teams from Simferopol, Sevastopol, Yalta, Bakhchisarai, Yevpatoria, Feodosia, Armyansk and Kerch.
