MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Moscow had tied much hope to US President Barack Obama, but many illogical wars ensued, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Wednesday.
"I wouldn’t want to get personal, but there was much hope, there was even a Nobel Peace Prize of course, but right after that there were many wars, wars that were absolutely illogical that didn’t coincide with the interests in stability in according regions," Lavrov said during an interview to Russian radio stations Sputnik, Ekho Moskvy, and Govorit Moskva.
