Russian President Vladimir Putin is to hold his latest marathon annual press conference on December 19, the Kremlin press service announced Monday.

MOSCOW, November 18 (RIA Novosti) – Russian President Vladimir Putin is to hold his latest marathon annual press conference on December 19, the Kremlin press service announced Monday.

Journalists can sign up for the conference, which will be Putin’s ninth as president, by filling out a form on the Kremlin's website before noon on December 1.

Last year’s event was attended by around a thousand journalists and lasted more than 4 1/2 hours.

Putin’s longest press conference, in 2008, lasted nearly five hours, during which time he answered about 80 questions.

This year’s conference is scheduled to begin at noon.
