The Kremlin will allocate 1 million rubles ($32,850) to each of the families of those killed in Tuesday's terrorist attack on the Chechen parliament and Saturday's flash floods in Russia's south, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said.

MOSCOW, October 19 (RIA Novosti) - The Kremlin will allocate 1 million rubles ($32,850) to each of the families of those killed in Tuesday's terrorist attack on the Chechen parliament and Saturday's flash floods in Russia's south, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said.

"In the past few days, we have borne witness to two events that have caused the loss of human life... I have signed two governmental decrees on the allocation of money to the families of those that were killed," Putin told Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov.

Islamist rebels killed six on Tuesday in a suicide attack in Grozny, the capital of Russia's volatile North Caucasus republic of Chechnya, while the flash floods in Russia's southern Krasnodar Territory on Saturday killed at least 14.
