Democratic presidential hopeful and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton removed a major roadblock on her way to the White House after the FBI recommended not to charge her over the email scandal, in a move which was followed by a flowing endorsement from President Obama.

The announcement comes just days after Bill Clinton “randomly” happened to bump into Attorney General Loretta Lynch at an Arizona airport, in what Donald Trump suggested was an illegal and conspiratorial meeting to ensure that Hillary got off scot-free.

Even though no charges were filed, however, the FBI did heap reputational damage on the former First Lady, contradicting her multiple previous claims that no information that was confidential at the time was ever sent on her unsecured email server and declaring that Clinton and her aides were – quote – “extremely careless”.

To discuss this in more detail we were joined by Gleb Ivaschentsov, member of the Russian International Affairs Council (studio guest); Edward Lozansky, President of the American University in Moscow; and Chris Shipler, American political commentator.
