Trump Jr.’s Meeting With Russian Lawyer Doesn't Prove Collusion, US Voters Say
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The identity of Kaveladze, who now serves as senior vice president for the development company Crocus Group, was confirmed by his lawyer Scott Balber, according to CNN.

Balber noted that Kaveladze has been a US citizen for a long time and has "never had any engagement with the Russian government in any capacity."

On Sunday, CNN reported that at least eight people were present at the meeting at the Trump Tower in New York City, including President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, campaign manager Paul Manafort, lobbyist Rinat Akhmetshin and publicist Rob Goldstone.

Earlier this month, US media reported that Trump, Jr. met with Veselnitskaya, who claimed she had sensitive information about Democratic party presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, but then understood that she intended to discuss the issue of the adoption of Russian children by US nationals.

Veselnitskaya noted she has never worked for the Russian government and denied that she had offered any negative information on Clinton.
