MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Temer, this is an example that there "can be no democracy without rule of law. It is a standard applicable to all, even the most powerful."

"Brazil has just gone through a long and complex process as governed and conducted by the National Congress and by the Brazilian Supreme Court which automatively led to an impeachment. Everything took place, I must stress, fully in line with the most absolute respect to the Constitutional order," Temer said in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly.
