MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Political and military experts will meet in Geneva in the coming days to step up work on resolving the Syrian crisis, a Russian Foreign Ministry source said Wednesday.
"We proceed from the assumption that intensive military and political expert work will begin in the coming days in Geneva, in development of [US State Secretary John] Kerry’s visit to Moscow," the source said.
Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told reporters last Friday they had agreed, but were not yet ready to make public, concrete steps to enforce a cessation of hostilities and create the conditions for political transition in Syria.
