Obama Administration Offers Russia Deal on Military Cooperation in Syria
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, The Washington Post reported that the Obama administration has proposed Russia to cooperate against some terrorist groups in Syria, if Moscow gets the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad to stop alleged attacks on US-backed opposition forces.

Kirby told Sputnik that the State Department "will not speak to the details of any ongoing internal or diplomatic conversations."
