MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, Syrian President Bashar Assad tasked Electricity Minister Imad Mohammad Deeb Khamis with forming the new government.
"The meanings of terms national opposition and internal national forces need to be clarified, they are currently ‘under the microscope’ to find people, nothing could be ruled out, but there is no confirmation yet," Haidar said.
Earlier in the day, a member of Syrian opposition's High Negotiations Committee (HNC), backed by Saudi Arabia, and a representative of the Syrian Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Russia told Sputnik that they expect no major changes under a newly-appointed prime minister.
