MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian aviation did not conduct any operations in the Syrian province of Idlib, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj.-Gen. Igor Konashenkov said Tuesday.

"There were neither military tasks nor airstrikes by Russian aviation in the province of Idlib," Konashenkov said.

"We call for being more critical regarding these "horrors" by a "British tandem" consisting of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and Reuters news agency."
