Russia Sees No Need to Gather ISSG Ahead of Geneva Talks

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said that Moscow sees no need to gather the International Syria Support Group before the start of the second round of the intra-Syrian talks.

GENEVA (Sputnik) — Russia does not see the need to gather the International Syria Support Group before the start of a fresh round of intra-Syrian talks on April 11, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said Wednesday.

"We see no need to gather this group, at least before the start of the second round, which is slated for April 11," Gatilov told RIA Novosti.
