French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault will meet in Paris on Sunday with some of his European counterparts, as well as US Secretary of State John Kerry.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The meeting will bring together Ayrault, Germany's Frank-Walter Steinmeier, UK's top diplomat Philip Hammond, Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni and Kerry, as well as EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini.

The agenda is expected to include a broad range of bilateral, regional and global issues, with a particular emphasis on the Syrian crisis and the developments in the Middle East, according to the US State Department.

The diplomats are also expected to discuss cooperation between their countries on various levels.

The meeting will take place ahead of the new round of intra-Syrian talks in Geneva, which will be held between March 14 and 24.
