Opposition Delegation Arrives in Geneva for Intra-Syria Talks

The delegation of the Riyadh-formed opposition has landed in Geneva for the intra-Syrian negotiations, Monzer Makhous, a spokesman for the High Negotiations Committee (HNC) told Sputnik on Saturday.

GENEVA (Sputnik) — He confirmed the delegation is headed by HNC chief negotiator Asaad Zoubi.

"Yes, i'm meeting the delegation at the airport," Makhous said.

It was earlier expected that Riyad Hijab, head of the High Negotiations Committee, would lead the delegation.
