Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Russia's decision to control inflow of agricultural products from Turkey is connected to "quite a wide range of factors".

Russia Refrains From Embargoes on Turkey, Putin-Erdogan Meeting Not Planned
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Moscow does not rule out terrorist threats from Turkey, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.

In response to a question on whether Russia’s strengthening of control measures on agricultural products from Turkey were because of terrorist factors, Peskov said that “this is tied to various factors, to quite a wide range of factors.”

When asked to elaborate on what role a terrorist threat played in the decision, Peskov said that “the role of a terrorist threat can obviously not be excluded.”
