Russian, Jordanian Leaders to Discuss Syria Crisis, Terrorism on Tuesday

Russian President Vladimir Putin and King Abdullah II of Jordan will meet in Russia’s southern resort city of Sochi on Tuesday to discuss the Syrian crisis and terrorism, the Kremlin said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The two leaders will "exchange opinions on the urgent issues on the international and regional agenda, including the situation in the Near East. Specifically, the leaders will discuss the Syrian crisis and the terror threat coming from the Islamic State."

They will also touch upon bilateral relations and outlooks for closer cooperation between Russia and Jordan, the two mediators at the recent Syria peace talks in Vienna.
