ATHENS, September 25 (Sputnik) — Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras plans to hold a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin later on Friday, Greece’s national news agency ANA reported.
This confirms a previous statement by Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov who said the phone call was scheduled for Friday evening.
The phone call will be the first since the Syriza party leader's return to power following a parliamentary election last week.
