People Dissatisfied With Coverage of Migrant Crisis in Mainstream Press

Jenny Hill, the head of the Canadian branch of the anti-Islamization group Pegida, said that the tolerance level in society is becoming less and less because of migration issues.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — People are getting frustrated with mainstream media because it is not reporting the full story on migration issues, the head of the Canadian branch of the anti-Islamization group Pegida told Sputnik.

"I believe the tolerance level is becoming less and less. There is much that is not reported on by the main stream press, and people are getting fed up and distressed. I believe it is insanity to continue to accept migrants into their society," Jenny Hill said.

Pegida is a political movement that was formed in Germany in 2014. It organizes public marches to express discontent with what they term the "Islamization of Europe."

In Europe, where it originated, the movement has tapped into growing anti-Islamic sentiment, exacerbated by a series of gun attacks in Paris and Copenhagen carried out by radical Islamists.
