MOSCOW (Sputnik) — After long delays, the Russian politician, who is included on Washington's sanctions lists, was granted a limited US visa earlier in the week.
"The decision of US authorities is a flagrant violation of international law, and is unacceptable for us. I cannot accept such limited visa conditions, therefore the participation of the Russian delegation in the World Conference of Speakers is impossible," Matvienko said in a statement published by Russia's Federation Council.
