Lavrov: Iran Nuclear Deal Within Reach, Moves in Right Direction
WASHINGTON, June 30 (Sputnik) — Iran and the P5+1 group of world powers, including Russia, China, France, the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany, agreed to extend the joint plan of action on Tehran’s nuclear program until July 7 to allow more time for a comprehensive solution earlier on Tuesday.

“If we can’t provide assurances that the pathways for Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon are closed, and if we can’t verify that, if the verification regime is inadequate then we are not going to get a deal,” Obama said.

“I will walk away from the negotiations if, in fact it is a bad deal.”

In April 2015, Iran and the P5+1 group of countries, agreed on a framework deal to permit Tehran a peaceful nuclear program and gradually remove all economic sanctions.
