Bloomberg, the US media outlet, has rushed to publish what is alleged to be "Putin's Points" from his forthcoming speech at the upcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum; however, Bloomberg's assumptions are way off beam, the Kremlin said.

During the recent news conference Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that "journalists from Bloomberg are mistaken" about Putin's planned remarks for his much-anticipated speech at the forthcoming St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Earlier, the US media outlet published a review of what they claimed were remarks from Putin's annual address to investors.

The media source suggested that the Russian President would evade the issues of the country's economic difficulties, "meaningful" measures to recover from the "recession," curtailing corruption and strengthening property rights, quoting four unnamed individuals supposed to be familiar with the matter by the media source.

Bloomberg claimed that Vladimir Putin would seek to assure Russians that the worst phase of the economic downturn sparked "by sanctions" and a sharp fall in oil prices is over and would "probably" use his annual address to send a "politically neutral" signal to the West to stave off further tensions with Washington and its allies.

According to unnamed sources quoted by the media outlet, Putin may announce an initiative aimed at launching co-finance projects with foreign companies and show his support for establishing a free trade area in the Pacific region and the development of Russia's Far East.

The media outlet also suggested that the Russian leadership is playing for time, waiting for the Central Bank of Russia to refill its financial reserves.

However, Putin's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has clearly signaled that Bloomberg's assumptions are far from reality.
