MOSCOW, November 23 (Sputnik) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will arrive in Vienna on Sunday evening to take part in the final round of talks on the Iranian nuclear program between Tehran and the P5+1 group of international negotiators, a diplomatic source told RIA Novosti.

"We expect Lavrov later tonight," the source stated.

French Foreign minister Laurent Fabius is also expected to arrive in the Austrian capital late Sunday, according to a source close to the French delegation.

"Fabius is due to arrive this evening," the source confirmed to Sputnik news agency.

The West is accusing Iran of developing nuclear weapons, while Tehran has repeatedly stressed the peaceful character of its nuclear development, which Iran says is aimed at meeting the country's growing energy needs.

The final round of talks has started on Tuesday in Vienna. US Secretary of State John Kerry, EU chief negotiator Catherine Ashton and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif are currently holding a trilateral meeting — the fifth one since the talks started earlier this week.

The deadline to reach an agreement on the issue was set for November 24.
