MOSCOW, November 16 (Sputnik) — The UK Labour Party has overtaken the country’s Conservatives, though Labour Leader Ed Miliband is unlikely to become a prime minister, a new poll conducted by the polling company ComRes suggests.
According to the poll, the UK Labour Party has surpassed the Conservative Party by four points, gaining 34 percent and recording no change from the last month.
Meanwhile, the Conservative Party suffered one point from the last month, being put at 30 percent.
Despite the lead of the Labour Party, the poll revealed that only 20 percent of the respondents could imagine Miliband as Prime Minister.
The United Kingdom will hold a general election in May, 2015 before the 56th Parliament of the United Kingdom is convened. The last time a general election took place in the country was in 2010 at which came first the Conservative Party leaded by incumbent Prime Minister David Cameron.
