Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko believes the government needs to create a joint coalition agreement, based on drafts made by both Petro Poroshenko Bloc and the People’s Front party.

KIEV, October 29 (RIA Novosti) — Leader of the Batkivshchyna (Fatherland) party, former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, proposed on Wednesday to draft a joint coalition agreement with leading political factions in the newly-elected Ukrainian parliament.

Earlier in the day, the Ukrainian president's party, Petro Poroshenko Bloc announced and circulated its own version of a coalition agreement containing 13 brief reforms proposals, from the judicial system to the energy sector.

The People’s Front party, led by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, also drafted its version of the coalition agreement on Wednesday.

“Our team has studied the draft coalition agreement handed over by the president’s team, and we have also read the draft prepared by the People’s Front,” Tymoshenko told reporters in Kiev.

“I believe that all these proposals are very important, and we should all make an effort to draft a joint coalition agreement, which would reflect the positions of these teams, reasonable and supported by everybody,” she stressed.
