Believe it or believe it not, all the ten places from our photo gallery are located in Russia.

Visiting as many places as possible across the world is a cherished dream of many people. There are countries that have a high diversity of must-see places and locations. Russia is one those countries. From remote areas where no human has ever set foot to gorgeous modern cities resembling European capitals – Russia can impress both its residents and foreign tourists.

Believe it or believe it not, all the ten places from our photo gallery are located in Russia.

The Zolotoy Bridge is a cable bridge across the Zolotoy Rog (Golden Horn) bay. It was one of the two bridges built in preparation for the 2012 APEC Summit. The total length of the bridge is 1,388 meters (2,100 meters including trestles).

The Burkhan Bakshin Altan Sume ("The Golden Abode of the Buddha Shakyamuni") is one of the largest European Buddhist temples. The building is 63 meters in height and houses a nine-meter-tall statue of Buddha, the largest across Russia and Europe.

The only city there is Gorno-Altaisk, the administrative center of the Altai Republic, with a population of 60,000 people. According to local legends, the mysterious country Shambhala is located somewhere in these mountains.

The only city there is Gorno-Altaisk, the administrative center of the Altai Republic, with a population of 60,000 people. According to local legends, the mysterious country Shambhala is located somewhere in these mountains.

The Avacha Bay is part of the Pacific Ocean on the southeastern coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula. It is 24 kilometer long and 3 kilometer wide, with a maximum depth of 26 meters. It is the world’s second-largest bay, capable of housing all fleets of the entire world. At the entrance to the bay, there is a group of rocks, named Tri Brata (Three Brothers). It is a natural monument and a symbol of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

In the past, they were a place for worship.

A Kaliningrad is a port city and the administrative center of Kaliningrad Oblast, the Russian exclave between Poland and Lithuania on the Baltic Sea. The locality was a site of the ancient Old Prussian settlement/fort Twangste. In 1255, a new fortress was built on this site by the Teutonic Knights during the Northern Crusades, and was named "Königsberg.” After World War II, the region became part of the USSR. European architecture and culture is a trademark of the city.
