The Russian city of Yekaterinburg kicked off preparations for the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II. According to the plans for forces of the Central Military District and the Yekaterinburg garrison, on April 1 servicemen conducted the first rehearsal of the Victory Day parade.

Among other weapons were T-72 tanks, Msta-S self-propelled howitzers, Grad and Uragan multiple rocket launchers, Buk missile systems, and heavy flamethrowers.

Iskander-M tactical missile systems were involved in the training. On May 9 in Yekaterinburg, Iskander-M will take part in a parade for the first time.
