About 500 soldiers and some 40 armored personnel carriers, self-propelled artillery units and mobile anti-air systems were involved in the exercises.

As per plan, units participating in the exercise conducted a 100km forced march to a designated area where they had to engage and neutralize the 'illegal armed groups' belonging to the simulated enemy.
