The 2015 North American International Auto Show – or simply the Detroit Motor Show – kicked off on January 12. As many as 45 all-new cars, trucks and SUVs are set to make their debut in the Motor City. Sputnik selected some of the most amazing premieres from the show.

The 2015 North American International Auto Show – or simply the Detroit Motor Show – kicked off on January 12, with a series of press and industry previews. The doors will open to the public on Saturday. As many as 45 all-new cars, trucks and SUVs are set to make their debut in the Motor City. The all-wheel-drive vehicle has a twin-turbo V6 engine which is expected to deliver over 500 horsepower. The previous NSX was heralded in its heyday as the "$40,000 Ferrari" and carved the new ground for Honda (Acura’s parental company) in the enthusiast world. The new NSX could again redefine the performance car. It is expected to hit the market in 2015 with a price starting at $150,000.

Mercedes-Benz rolled its new concept F015 Luxury in Motion at the Detroit Motor Show. The all-silver vehicle looks like an alien spacecraft from a Hollywood sci-fi movie and captures company’s idea of the self-driving car.

A 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine rated at 190 hp powers the concept. According to the company, Santa Cruz is not an alternative to a traditional pickup truck. It is intended to appeal to crossover buyers who want more utility without the huge size of a traditional truck.

South Korea’s Hyundai presented the Santa Cruz Crossover Truck Concept. The dual-cab vehicle is a few years away from production. A 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine rated at 190 hp powers the concept. According to the company, Santa Cruz is not an alternative to a traditional pickup truck. It is intended to appeal to crossover buyers who want more utility without the huge size of a traditional truck.

The new two-seat roadster has reached production without any significant changes from the concept car, unveiled at the 2014 Geneva motor show. Power comes from a turbocharged 1.7-liter engine which delivers 237 hp. Only 3,000 will be built by hand in Italy. The price will supposedly be $60-85,000.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider was revealed in final production form at the motor show.
