The eighth day of the Sochi Winter Olympics saw medals awarded for the women’s Super G, cross-country skiing relay and 1,500m short track speedskating, while the men fought for medals in skeleton, 1,000m short track and ski jumping. Last but not least, the US and Russia played a dramatic game of hockey.
