A "Watercolor" metro train, featuring artworks related to the Battle of Borodino, was launched on September 6 in Moscow. Experts from the Battle of Borodino Panorama Museum selected more than 50 pictures that depict key scenes from the Patriotic War of 1812.

A "Watercolor" metro train, featuring artworks related to the Battle of Borodino, was launched on September 6 in Moscow. The train travels down the Abrbatsko-Pokrovskaya line.
The train's passengers can view drawings that tell the heroic stories of the Patriotic War of 1812 and various graphics featuring different types of 19th century Russian military uniforms.
Illustrations of Mikhail Lermontov’s poem "Borodino" and of Leo Tolstoy’s epic historical novel "War and Peace" are also on display, along with political caricatures created at the beginning of the 19th century.
