Catherine Deneuve could become lifelong president of Russian film festival

MOSCOW, July 26 (RIA Novosti) - French actress Catherine Deneuve could become the lifelong president of the Russian Liki Lyubvi film festival, the Russian daily newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta quoted festival founder Mark Rudishtein as saying.

The program of the 11th Liki Lyubvi film festival, which will take place in Sochi from August 27 to September 4, will now be divided into an international and national competition. Films will be judged by two juries, one foreign one Russian.

The program, which is still being decided, will consist of about 10 films.

Rudishtein said preparations are underway for the new St. Petersburg International Film Festival, which would take place in July 2006 and last 12 days.
