Four New Russian Missile Forces With Yars Systems on Combat Duty - Minister

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu stated that four new regiments of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces, were put on combat duty in 2016 said Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Four new regiments of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces, armed with Yars intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) systems, were put on combat duty in 2016, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Thursday.

"Four new regiments, armed with mobile Yars missile systems, were put on combat readiness," Shoigu said.
