Serbia to Purchase Two Russian Helicopters - Internal Ministry

Serbian army intends to purchase two Russian helicopters, Minister of Internal Affairs Nebojsa Stefanovic said Tuesday.

GROZNY (Sputnik) — Serbia is interested in tight cooperation with Russia not only in the arms trade but between the armies and police forces to fight terrorism and crime, he added.

"The thing that we have discussed and agreed on is to purchase two helicopters for our army," Stefanovic told journalists at the 7th international meeting of high representatives overseeing security issues.

The 7th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues is being held in Grozny, Chechnya, on May 24–25 and is attended by representatives of more than 60 countries. Such meetings are held every year in a Russian city at the initiative of Russia’s Security Council.
