Argentinian President Promises to Remain in Politics After Elections
BUENOS AIRES (Sputnik) – In early November, media reports emerged that the two countries had finalized the deal after almost two years of talks but Argentina had suspended it indefinitely.

"This is not a step back, we didn’t sign the contract given the upcoming change of government," Rossi said.

Argentina will hold the second round of its presidential elections on November 22. The ruling coalition’s candidate, Daniel Scioli, and his rival, Mauricio Macri, are currently neck-and-neck.

The new government will come to power on December 10.
