MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Russian Defense Ministry launched an English page of Army Games-2015 international contest on Monday to keep foreign audience informed.
The contest will be held by Russia’s Western Military District. According to the Defense Ministry, it will feature 13 competitions that taking place for two weeks between August 1 and 15.
According to the ministry, the so-called Tank Biathlon in the Moscow Region will become the most important competition.
Fourteen countries will participate in the contest, apart from Russia itself. The participating nations include China, India, Venezuela, Belarus, Egypt, Kuwait, Pakistan, and Armenia.
More than 2,000 foreign troops are anticipated to partake in the games and 400 foreign observers will be present.
