MOSCOW (Sputnik) – A Russian guided missile cruiser from the Black Sea Fleet has departed the port of Sevastopol and is currently sailing for the Mediterranean Sea to participate in joint Russian-Chinese naval exercises, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Black Sea spokesman said Thursday.
“Today, the Black Sea Fleet guided missile cruiser flagship, the Moskva, departed Sevastopol and headed on a course for the Black Sea straits. The cruiser with other ships from the fleet will participate in Russian-Chinese naval exercises in the Mediterranean Sea,” Capt. 1st Rank Vyacheslav Trukhachyov told journalists.
