This year, according to various estimates, at least 2.3 million Muslims have come to Saudi Arabia in order to perform the pilgrimage to Mecca, which is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and is required for every believer, who can afford it at least once in their lifetime.

Numerous Muslims travel to the Jamarat bridge in Mecca on the third day of Hajj (known as yawm-ul hajj al-akbar), where they perform a symbolic stoning of the devil.
