Fire in Two Buildings Under Construction in Abu Dhabi Leaves 13 Injured
A total of 13 people including 10 firefighters were injured as a result of a fire in two buildings currently under construction in the United Arab Emirates capital of Abu Dhabi, local media reported Tuesday.
DUBAI (Sputnik) — The fire report was received by firefighters at 10:50 a.m. local time [07:50 GMT] and soon contained, WAM news agency reported. Around 600 workers and residents of the neighboring houses were evacuated from the site.
Both buildings are 28 floors in height and are part of the complex intended for residential and hotel premises.
