MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to NTV, the blast occurred late on Wednesday. Antalya police chief Muduru Cemil Tonbul said the blast was triggered by a simple explosive device.
An investigation into the indecent is underway. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the explosion.
On July 15, an attempted coup was staged in Turkey by sections of the country’s military. The coup attempt was suppressed the following day. Over 240 people were killed and an estimated 2,000 were wounded.
