MOSCOW (Sputnik) – On Friday, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said that a group of servicemen attempted a military coup d'etat in the country.
"The Turkish armed forces have fully taken control of the country to return to constitutional order, to ensure respect for human rights and freedoms," the army statement read.
