Daesh Controls 10% of Iraq's Territory After Fallujah Liberation - Envoy

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The operation, which involved helicopters and warplanes, took place to the south of Fallujah on Wednesday, according to media reports.

"All ISIS [Daesh] militants traveling in these vehicles were killed," Rasool stated as quoted by NBC News.

The US-led coalition of more than 60 nations has been conducting airstrikes in Syria and Iraq against Daesh since the summer of 2014.
